We pride ourselves on providing an excellent dining experience for our members from both a service and food quality standpoint. We are in search of a Sous Chef who will bring a creative flare to the kitchen and be instrumental in ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and turns out excellent product in a timely manner. In this important role the individual will assist the Executive Chef in supervising food production for all food outlets, banquet events, and other functions at the club.

As for all our team members, your primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional member experience and keep a high standard of member and guest satisfaction, service quality, appearance, and cleanliness of facilities. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential to the success of each team member, as well as the success of our operation.

Requirements

Expected Hours of Work: Flexible scheduling - daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. 

  • October-April Average 35 hours/week
  • May-September Average 40 hours/week. 

Due to the cyclical nature of Woodhill’s business, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club. This includes nights and weekends.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

  • A culinary degree or certificate.
  • At least two years of experience preparing food and cooking in a foodservice operation.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience cooking at a club or fine dining restaurant.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • State of MN Certified Food Manager.
